Terms of Service

If you commission me you are accepting the following Terms of Service.

General Information

  1. To commission me you need to fill out my form. Please know that filling out the form not an immediate acceptance of the commission. I will notify you if your commission has been approved.

  2. Visual references are required. Send me as many as you think would be necessary for me in order to complete your commission. If you don't provide me any visual reference you will be charged extra depending on the complexity of the character design.

  3. I retain all the rights of my work to post, modify or sell the product in any way.

  4. All commissions are non-profit/personal use only. You may not profit from my work for any reason whatsoever. You may also not remove my signature from your commission, since I retain all the rights of my work.

  5. You can only post the signed version of your commission online. You can use the clean version for personal use like prints, profile pictures, etc.

  6. I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a commission for any reason I feel necessary. This includes, but it’s not exclusive to, uncooperative behavior, disrespect from the client, lack of communication, health problems and anything else that may apply. Payment and Refund

  1. All payments are made through PayPal in USD only.

  2. Payments are upfront and in full. I’ll send you an invoice to your email and I will not start the commission until the payment has been made.

  3. There are no refunds after the payment is effectuated.

  4. If I have to cancel the commission for any particular reason, you will receive a full refund. If I already started you will receive a partial refund depending on how far I am on the commission process.

Commission Process

  1. Fill out the form. Once I accept your request I'll put you in the queue.

  2. Wait for your turn. Finishing a commission can take up to 4 weeks, depending on the complexity of it. You can see at what stage of the commission I am working on my Trello board.

  3. Once your turn is up I’ll contact you, sending you an invoice to your email. I accept PayPal only.

  4. Once the full payment has been made I'll start working on your commission.

  5. All the references you sent me must be of your property. If you want me to use a character/design exactly like the image or anything that does not belong to you, you must have proper permission from the original artist for me to proceed to use it. References that do not belong to you but are used only for inspiration/reference are ok. For example, “I’d like her dress to look similar to this one (image)”.

  6. When I start working on your commission there will be one revision on each step of it (sketch, flat colors, shading). In each step you can change anything regarding that particular step (if it's the sketch phase you can change anything regarding the drawing itself). If there's anything I forgot to add those changes can be done for free. After that’s been approved there will be no further changes until the commission is completed. Any extra changes will be charged accordingly.

Rights of the Artist

  1. I can use the commissioned artwork for future commissions openings to promote myself and as an example of my work.

  2. I will upload the commissioned artwork to my social media. If you don’t want me to post it because it’s a gift, please inform me in advance. There’s a section in my form for Additional Information right at the end, so feel free to use that space to let me know if your commission is a gift and needs to remain private.

  3. I can post early phases of your commission (WIPs) to promote myself. If you don’t want me to do so as stated before, just let me know in advance on the same section.

  4. You can upload your commission to any website as you see fit as long as credit is given to me for my work (there has to be a link to any of my social media). You can only post the signature version of your commission. You can also use it as a reference for other commissions as well.

If you have any questions for any of these terms, do not hesitate to contact me on my Twitter (@_sashinne) or via email so we can discuss it. Have a nice day!
